Texans vs Jets – Monday Night Football Betting Preview

The undefeated Houston Texans are -9 point favorites heading into New York for their Monday night football game vs the Jets.  The Over/Under is set at 40.5.

The much talked about quarterback controversy in New York may get a lot worse tonight for the Jets going up  against the NFL’s 4th ranked pass defense and league leader in sacks (7.5), J.J. Watts.  Houston’s defense is in the top 10 in rushing ypg, passing ypg and total defense.  Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow will need to be efficient and not turn the ball over to have any chance tonight.

Houston is one of the favorites to come out of the AFC for a chance to play in the Super Bowl in New Orleans.  With a balanced offensive attack and stout defense, the Texans will be a tough opponent for the miserable Jets.

New York is a media circus and bringing in Tim Tebow in the off season was questionable.  Now with Mark Sanchez under fire for managing the 28th ranked total offense and 28th in passing offense, is it Tebow time?

Let’s face it, the Jets are miserable and things may get even worse now that Darrelle Revis is out for the season.  Every year the Jets are over hyped and Rex Ryan over promotes.  When will it be enough and the front office blows the coach and team up and starts over.  Mark Sanchez has shown signs of becoming a good starting quarterback but he has also shown signs of not being able to handle the pressure.

Look for Houston to man handle the Jets tonight and embarrass the Jets once again at home.
