Angels Making Moves in Free Agency

Three-time NL MVP Albert Pujols agreed Thursday to a $254 million, 10-year contract with the Los Angeles Angels.  The Angels weren’t done with Pujols and also signed LH pitcher CJ Wilson away from the Texas Rangers for five-years, $77.5 million.  Wilson was considered the best free agent pitcher on the market.

Hall of Famer Killebrew dies at 74

Harmon Killebrew, the big-swinging slugger for the Minnesota Twins and the face of the franchise for so many years, died Tuesday at age 74 after battling esophageal cancer.  The team said Killebrew died peacefully at his home in Scottsdale, Ariz., with his wife, Nita, and their family at his side.
