Ravens vs Browns Betting Odds on Monday Night Football
After a Sunday in which numerous teams left bettors confused and bankrolls a bit smaller than what they were to start the weekend, there is one more opportunity to cash in on Monday Night Football. The Ravens travel to Cleveland to take on their AFC North opponent, the Browns. Cleveland re-appointed Brady Quinn to start this game as their team name, Browns, pretty much sums up their 1-7 start. The Ravens who sit at 4-4 after starting the season 3-0 have hit some speed bumps recently. Close losses to the Bengals and Vikings have left Baltimore fans scratching their heads. After going 11-5 last season before losing the Steelers in the AFC Championship, the Ravens headed into 2009 with high expectations. Departures of Rex Ryan and Bart Scott have translated into a more conservative defensive approach which may have something to do with their .500 record.
While the Ravens can get back on track with a win tonight, the Browns are still trying to figure out their QB of the future. Brady Quinn started the season under center only to be pulled 2.5 games into the season and it was Derek Anderson’s job to take. However, Anderson didn’t capitalize on the opportunity and now Quinn is back starting. With virtually no playmakers on offense after trading Braylon Edwards, Cleveland who is just two seasons removed from going 10-6 and barely missing the playoffs, looks like they are in the midst of another rebuilding period. It started by losing their top threat to suspension in Donte Stallworth and has snowballed downhill from there. It is widely expected that the Browns will contact Mike Holmgren to take over VP of Football Operations, similar to what Bill Parcells did in Miami. It may take more than Mike Holmgren to steer this ship in the right direction.
The Ravens are -10 point road favorites according to Bodog with the Over/Under set at 39. Make sure to check in with your top Documented Handicapper to guide you to a victory tonight.

The Ravens only needed to focus for 5 total minutes to beat the Browns. The spread was -10 but should have been more. And between both of them they cant score a total of 39 points if they played twice! If Baltimore can ever get their offense to hit on all cylinders they will be all but unbeatable.

I love wagering on NFL. The bad part is that I’ve lost about $ seven this month. I think the most enjoyable part is doing the research and using research to find holes in the odds.
