Favre to the Vikings…It’s Never Over
Latest reports have Brett Favre signing with the Vikings just three weeks after he told them he will not come out of retirement. Brett Favre re-wrote the book on waffling. Brett Favre is one of the greatest QB’s to ever play in the NFL and with out a doubt is a first ballot Hall of Famer, this we all know. If you thought all speculation about Brett Favre’s future had ended, think again. Two NFL reporters who are close to Favre wrote Monday morning that Favre playing for the Minnesota Vikings this season is a distinct possibility.
It is reported that after watching Sage Rosenfels struggle in the preseason opener, Brad Childress is still open to adding Favre to the Vikings roster. We aren’t stupid, Favre just didn’t want to shack up in a dorm room and endure painfully hot camp drills. If I were a player on the Vikings team that had to endure the grueling August camp and put in the hard to work to help make the team better down the stretch, I would be pissed that the old man would wait out training camp to join the team. I don’t care about him “earning the right” to waffle, that’s bull. You never heard of Joe Montana, Dan Marino or John Elway pulling this stunt. Sure all players feel they have one more good year left in them or want to take one more shot at winning the Super Bowl but Favre could be one of the most selfish players in recent history.
Give it up Favre, you tried it in NY but it didn’t work you were still the same gunslinger you have been your entire career. What the team wasn’t good enough for you? You’re an ALL Time great; you make the team not vice versa. What’s that you say? You watched the Vikings preseason game and see you have 2 top rushers and a real solid defense to help you. Well let me tell you Vikings fans, Favre is past his prime and will throw key interceptions down the stretch just like old times. He will divide your team and do more harm then good. We are all tired of hearing about Favre, writing about Favre and talking about Favre. It is my hope the Vikings are let down big time this season and realize they made a big mistake of bringing in an old timer instead of grooming the future. Good luck Vikings! Not.

Yea I agree with this post. Brett Favre could be one of the most selfish players in the history of the game. He doesn’t care about team morale or comrodery he care’s about stat padding and retiring on top like John Elway. Well that won’t happen. Vikings have a really good team but chances are the seams will loosen down the stretch due to his selfish play.

Hahaha… Its funny to read this post now that the Vikings are 4-0 and after this Sunday an easy 5-0 against the Rams. I believe that favre just wanted to con’t to play ball and he is doing great. Only one interception which was a tipped ball and he is always in the game. I can promise that the vikings won’t have won there third game if jackson was put in at the end.
