Broncos vs Chargers Monday Night Football Odds
The San Diego Chargers will attempt to stay in the AFC West race tonight as they host the unbeaten Denver Broncos. A Denver win would move the Bronocs record to 6-0 and give them a three game lead in the standings over the Chargers. Bodog has the Chargers listed as a -3 home favorite and the Over/Under set at 44.
Denver is coming off a big win against the Patriots at home last week. The Broncos allowed just 17 points all which came in the first half holding New England to 305 total yards. The Broncos offense racked up 424 yards and 27 first downs while controlling the ball for over 36 minutes. Kyle Orton continues to impress completing 35-48 passes for 330 yards, 2 TD’s and 1 INT.
SD is coming off a bye week and currently stands at 2-2. The Chargers put up a fight in Pittsburgh but ultimately lost 38-28 on October 4th. The Chargers defense was manhandled by Pittsburgh yielding 32 first downs, 8 third down conversions and 497 yards. Most importantly, the Steelers were 5-5 in red zone opportunities.

The Broncos are 5-0 against the spread this season but just 1-4 straight up in their last 5 visits to San Diego losing by an average of 20.5 points per game. The Over is 10-4 in Denver’s last 14 games vs an AFC West opponent. San Diego is 21-8-4 ATS in their last 33 games vs an AFC West opponent.

Charges are bad! I never expected them to play that poorly with all the talent they have. Don’t expect them to be favorites in many more games this season.

WOW, what a day in the NFL! These two teams are certainly doing 180’s and heading in different directions. It looked like the Bronco’s were going to run away but the past few weeks are changing everything. It will be interesting to see what happens when these 2 face off against each other again soon.
