Has King James Damaged His Reputation?

Why is that LeBron has become the most criticized player in the NBA? Is it because he made a decision that HE felt was best for his career? Since when has this become a reason to question his integrity? The Yankees get the biggest players in baseball and pay the most money for them. The Yankees are in a great position to trade for Cliff Lee and for what reason? To win another World Series title like the only way they know how, buy talent. Lebron James may take a slight pay cut to simply play with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh and he is being ridiculed and labeled as a “quitter”.

Am I the only person to not have a problem with this? The Lakers are on the verge of a 3-pete and no Kobe Bryant did not do it by himself. He has talent and experience surrounding him on the court at all times. People expected Cleveland to win it last year with Shaq as their big man? Please, the only thing he does is slow an offense down so much there is never any rhythm to the game. LeBron James and Dwayne Wade in the open court is just about as good as it gets but they haven’t won anything yet!

The Heat truly have 3 super star players but Mario Chalmers is a 2nd year player who still has to mature and they traded Beasley their 2009 #1 pick. Miami still has a lot of restructuring of their line up to be able to make things happen down in South Beach. Overshadowed by this entire mega drama, the Celtics signed Jermaine O’Neal to a 2 year contract to make them a little stronger. The Heat are certainly not a sure bet to win it all never the less represent the East.

Was the hour long special necessary? No, it’s a pathetic marketing plea to get more people interested in the NBA and LeBron James. Quite frankly, a shake up in the NBA is a good thing because I certainly don’t want to watch the Lakers win another title.
