Pitt Panthers vs. Louisville - Friday Night Big East Sports Betting Pick Preview
Pittsburgh will travel to Louisville to face the Cardinals Friday night. This is the first Big East opponent for both Pitt and Louisville so starting 1-0 in the Big East is necessary. Pittsburgh must rebound after a disappointing 38-31 loss at North Carolina St a week ago. Pittsburgh blew a 31-17 lead late in the third quarter and then folded down the stretch as North Carolina St scored the games final 21 points to earn the 7 point victory.
Louisville has not had it together since Bobby Petrino left for Arkansas. The Cardinals are off to a 1-2 start losing to Kentucky and Utah and their only win is over Indiana State. The QB play has been dismal leaving their offense with more to be desired. Pitt certainly is showing better offensive productivity and they do have a solid win against Navy and are a few plays away from a 4-0 start. Here are the current streaks:
Pittsburgh: 3-1 SU, 2-1 ATS
Louisville: 1-2 SU, 1-1 ATS
Pittsburgh most recently:
When playing in October are 6-4
When playing on turf are 6-4
After being outgained are 6-4
When playing within the conference are 6-4
Louisville most recently:
When playing in October are 8-2
When playing on turf are 4-6
After being outgained are 3-7
When playing within the conference are 2-8
Bodog has Pitt laying -7 and the Over/Under set at 53.
