2010 Fiesta Bowl - (6)Boise State vs (3)TCU

Boise State takes on TCU in the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, AZ.  Both teams are unbeaten but this is not the BCS National Championship.  While it should be a great matchup of #1 scoring attack vs #1 defense.  However, neither school hails from a major conference nor has been challenged week in and week out.  With that being said, it should be a great game displaying major talent that doesn’t typically get national recognition.

Last year the two teams met in the Poinsettia Bowl and TCU came out the victor winning 17-16.  This year, TCU is a -7.5 point favorite with the Over/Under set at 53.5 at most books.  TCU comes into this game with a dominant defense while Boise State has an explosive offense.  What is sometimes forgotten is that TCU also has a very potent offense and that could be the difference in tonight’s Fiesta Bowl.

Both teams have covered the spread 8 times this season while both have gone Over the Total than Under.  TCU will try to run the ball and work in screens while Boise State prefers the air attack.  TCU gets the nod on the defensive side of the ball but Boise State is no slouch.

Boise State is 9-0 ATS L9 games on grass and TCU is 39-19-1 ATS L59 games overall.  It should be an exciting game folks and as always look to the Documented Handicappers for your researched BCS College Football Bowl Picks.

Great game! Boise State pulled out a huge win over a great team. It’s the second time in four years that the Broncos have won the Fiesta Bowl with a big play. The only thing that sort of took me of guard was that 2 of the nations top offenses couldn’t get going in this game.
